Temperament

Nike is a puppy that I imported at six months old due to CDC regulations from the EKW kennel “Ex Lupa Nigra” in Germany. She is my second personal Eurasier.
She’s a very playful Eurasier with people she knows well, and bonds very strongly to people in her immediate circle. She is very affectionate, and will offer kisses and licks. She likes to stay close to her people, so you’ll find her in the same room pretty much all the time.
Nike is generally reserved with dogs she does not know. She does not engage in play and will warn them to not get to close if they are too forward. With known dogs, she is very playful and loves to wrestle.
Nike is generally disinterested in strangers. She generally prefers to approach and give a quick sniff to investigate unknown people, and then back off. She does not seek attention or affection from people she does not know, and does not wish to be touched or ask for physical contact.
Nike loves playing with toys. She is also an avid water dog and loves dipping into any puddle or stream that she can find.
